Data Centers

We make labels, overlays, sealed keypads and shielding parts for UPS, power distribution, cooling and rack hardware, built for 24/7 operation in dust-controlled, ESD-sensitive rooms.

Challenges We Solve

Equipment for Discontinued Products

A control panel touched by a technician standing beside energized racks is a discharge path. Constructions are specified with ESD in mind, with shielding layers laminated into the assembly.

Dust and Particulate in a Controlled Room

Airborne particulate degrades contacts and clouds display windows. BTI die-cuts filtration media and perimeter gaskets alongside the overlay so the assembly seals as one part.

Panels Serviced in a Dark, Noisy Aisle

A technician working a hot aisle at 3 am needs to find the right key without reading it. Tactile metal domes give positive feedback, and backlighting is designed for even illumination.

Labels That Have to Survive to Audit

An asset tag or rating plate that has gone illegible breaks traceability at inventory. UL 969 evaluates the full construction for permanence, adhesion, and long-term legibility.

Continuous Duty and Hot Aisle Temperature

Equipment that never powers down cycles adhesive and ink for years without a rest. Adhesive is selected from the 3M pressure-sensitive range for the substrate and thermal range.

A Part Your Supplier Stopped Making

Racks outlive the vendors that filled them. Send the physical part, and we work from the component when the drawings are gone, then return it to documented production.

Why Data Center OEMs Choose BTI

Built With ESD and Dust in Mind

BTI's own specification for this sector starts from durability, tactile feedback, and resistance to dust, moisture, and electrostatic discharge, rather than adapting an office-grade part.

UL Authorized Label Supplier

Rating plates, arc flash placards, and asset marking are built as UL 969 label systems, evaluated for permanence, durability, adhesion, and legibility in the actual application.

Sealed Assemblies, Not Sealed Components

The overlay, switch, backlighting, filtration media, and gasket are laminated into one finished sub-assembly, so the seal belongs to the part BTI ships rather than to an interface.

Backlighting Designed for a Dark Aisle

LED layers are designed into the circuitry rather than added behind a finished face, which is what keeps illumination even and removes bright spots and dead zones.

What Our Clients Say

Frequently Asked Questions

Does BTI make labels and overlays for data center equipment?

Yes. Rating plates, arc flash placards, asset tags, control panel overlays, and sealed keypads for UPS systems, PDUs, cooling units, and rack hardware.

ANSI/TIA-606 governs labeling of telecommunications infrastructure, including cables, patch panels, and racks. BTI prints equipment identification to your artwork.

Yes. BTI’s specification for this sector starts from resistance to dust, moisture, and electrostatic discharge, with shielding layers laminated into the finished assembly.

Yes. BTI is a UL Authorized Label Supplier building UL 969 systems, evaluated for permanence, durability, adhesion, and legibility rather than just material approval.

Yes. LED backlighting is designed into the circuitry rather than added behind a finished face, and tactile metal domes give positive feedback without the technician looking.

Yes, with die-cut display windows, embossed key areas, selective adhesive, and anti-glare finishes, laser cut to +/-0.002 in and supplied as a finished sub-assembly.

Often, yes. Racks outlive the vendors that filled them. Send a sample and we work from the physical part when documentation is gone, then return it to documented production.

No. BTI manufactures to a customer drawing for OEM production runs. For structured cabling labels and field printers, a cable labeling supplier will serve you better.
