One leading manufacturer knew they needed a control panel that was both highly functional and visually distinct. The challenge? Their engineering team wasn’t specialized in membrane switch design and didn’t know what features were available to enhance their product. That’s where Butler Technologies stepped in. Our engineering design team worked closely with their Lead Hardware Engineer to transform a rough layout into a fully realized, production-ready membrane switch. The final design incorporated many unique design elements, including: - **Branded Backlighting** – A custom power button with color-changing LEDs and an illuminated logo for instant recognition. - **Enhanced Functionality** – Optimized button sizes, tactile feedback with 58 domes, and carefully selected materials for durability. By partnering with Butler Technologies, the manufacturer saved **20+ hours** of engineering time and ended up with a custom interface that met both technical and aesthetic goals.
