Butler Technologies works with many industries that include automotive, medical and other Original Equipment Manufacturers to print parts that require forming. We are capable of engineering your parts to account for the distortion that occurs during the forming process. Parts can be vacuumed formed, hydro-formed or embossed.
Thermoforming is a manufacturing process where a plastic sheet is heated to a pliable forming temperature, formed to a specific shape in a mold, and trimmed to create a usable product.
The Hydroforming process eliminates one half of the die set and replaces it with a hydraulic fluid cell assembly that has a diaphragm type face. Hydroforming allows complex shapes to be formed, which would be difficult or impossible with standard solid die stamping.
